Job Details
At the core is an open source software platform that provides a flexible way to configure the operations of a repository such as submission workflows, the metadata for content, and a range of services to allow people to access content within a repository.
The team is growing and requires people who can take responsibility for the development of customer focused projects for both EPrints systems and more varied research related engineering projects.
Projects all require some level of design, programming, testing, project management, and customer support.
The successful candidate should have a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications, experience in Computer Science or a related discipline such as Software Development. Some knowledge of Linux and web technologies, for example XML, Javascript and CSS is essential for this role. Experience of Perl or similar applicable high level programming language will be highly desirable.

The initial duration of the post is 2 years.
