NonStop Technical is looking for a Global Customer Quality Manager!


Our client is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Global Customer Quality Manager to take on exciting responsibilities considering all the quality matters related to the production for one of our major customers on a global level.

Job mission and objectives of the role:

Reporting to the Global HSE&Q Director, this person will be part of the Corporate HSE&Q team, will be based in Italy, Hungary or Slovakia, contributing to ensure customer quality development in the facilities and participating in the maintenance and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop customer communication to establish and maintain effective trusting business relationships at all levels.
  • Maintain appropriate communication with Customers to understand their wishes, to ensure the achievement of the objectives and to fix and solve issues with quick and accurate resolutions.
  • Serve as escalation point for major customer issues.
  • Review customer-specific quality requirements to ensure that plants comply and negotiate exceptions with the customer.
  • Investigate and solve manufacturing-related problems using formal problem-solving tools.
  • Provplant support to include, but not be limited to, facilitation of root cause and corrective actions, problem resolutions, certification activities, auditing, and material dispositioning
  • Plan, support and implement the quality program in collaboration with the organizations to meet the business goals and objectives.
  • Manage/coordinate actions for improvement of VOC together with plants
  • Reviews the production process and identifies / co-ordinates with the Production Manager, areas for Quality and H&S improvements.
  • Monitors performances against targets and ensures the goals are met and report risk situation inside the organisation
  • Co-ordinates the visit and audit of Customer

Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in a Quality related environment inside an industrial manufacturing or automotive framework. Supply Chain Management knowledge is a plus.
  • University degree or equivalent related to the job scope (ideally engineering).
  • An Auditor 9001 - 14001 exam or a Green / Black Belt is nice to have.
  • Purpose-driven individual, target oriented and used to work under pressure.
  • A flexible individual who is able to resolve external and internal conflict situations.
  • Availability to travel up to 40% at times mostly in Europe / occasionally worldwide.
  • Business fluent in English / A knowledge of German, Hungarian or Slovak would be beneficial.
