MANAGER REGULATORY TOXICOLOGY - EUROPE

You will be responsible for all the toxicology support and project leadership regarding European legislation, so we expect you to bring several years of professional experience working in similar role. As a regulatory toxicologist you will be responsible for Risk Assessment of raw materials(mainly Biocide products ) and Study Monitoring. We want you to be able to manage chemical substances through REACH registration process and represent the company by international authorities.


Your responsibilities:

* Obtaining relevant registrations for existing products to support the sales and marketing of products and customer products in Europe by ensuring compliance with EEA and country specific legislation
* Supervising and coordinating (eco)toxicological, environmental fate, phys-chem, efficacy and analytical testing required for European registration
* Coordination of meeting the requirements of the EU Biocidal Product Regulation for active substances and biocidal products
* Work with European staff on the maintenance and development of Safety Data Sheets meeting European requirements (e.g. EU REACH (EC 1907/2006), EU CLP (EC 1272/2007) and related regulatory frameworks)
* Develop and maintain data management systems for relevant European study data (e.g. (eco)toxicological, phys-chem, efficacy, environmental fate and analytical) as well as country specific requirements
* Represent the company in national and/or European trade associations, working groups and committees
* Represent our client by Regulatory and Legislative government agencies

Requirements:


* PhD in (eco)toxicology (or comparable; e.g. Board Certified Toxicologist, ERT, DABT) with five to ten years' working experience in chemical industry and/or relevant competent authorities in the area of European chemicals management Regulatory Affairs.
* Proven track record of successful EU regulatory dossier development and submission (using IUCLID6, R4BP and REACH-IT)

* Fluency in English (knowledge of German or Dutch is highly appreciated).
* Team player with 'can do'-mentality; a strong communicator, who is flexible and self-starting with proven project management and project co-ordination skills.
