Job Details
The Scheiffele Lab at Biozentrum is searching for a highly
motivated 80-100% laboratory technician.
Your position
The successful applicant will join a dynamic research group studying the development of neuronal networks in the mammalian brain and pathophysiology of autism-spectrum disorders. Main responsibilities include behavioral procedures in mice, molecular biology and biochemical experiments. Approximately 50% of the work will be broadly supporting functions and maintenance of the lab and 50% will be directly linked to a specific project in the laboratory.
Your profile
Applicants should have a degree as "Laborant/in" or a Bachelor Degree in Biology or related topics. Previous experience in mouse husbandry, surgery, cell culture, recombinant protein expression and purification, and molecular biology applications is desired. The role requires flexibility, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Enthusiasm and motivation for biological research are critical. The primary language
of the laboratory and the Biozentrum is English.
