Research Coordinator, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Research Coordinator.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities.
• assist in monitoring the progress and record keeping of research activities 
• assist in preparing reports, manuscripts & abstract for publication, presentation and grant applications.
• assist in conducting practical lab sessions 
• ensure compliance with the applicable quality standards of certifying and accredited bodies. 
• conduct activities for continuous for professional development in line with the plan. 
• perform any other duty or responsibility assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

You should have:

• MSc degree or equivalent qualification in a related area  
• 2-3 years of related work experience in related field 
• ability to collect, maintains, analyse data and prepare reports
• ability to understand and carries out the principles of safety management; complies with safety policies and procedures
• ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
• proficiency in computer skills, especially MS Office & Outlook 
• ability to work with minimal supervision
