(HEO9) $111,077- $118,862 per annum plus an employer contribution of 9.5% superannuation will apply

Fixed term appointment for two years

 

Integrate creativity and strategy to deliver compelling marketing communications that support the University's strategic priorities.

The Marketing and Communications branch in University Operations builds the reputation of the University of Adelaide through the protection and promotion of its brand.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role integrates creativity and strategy to deliver compelling marketing communications that support the University's strategic priorities. In championing a culture of accountability and empowerment, the Head of Creative will lead with an external market orientation and a focus on exceptional service culture - maximising operational efficiency and effectiveness.

The Head of Creative leads an in-house Creative Studio in the delivery of creative solutions across all channels, including digital, social, video, photography, advertising, web, copywriting and editing. The role is accountable for management of prioritisation, metrics and measurement, capability, process, and efficiency and effectiveness in cooperation with the University's marketing leadership group. The Head of Creative interprets brand strategy into effective expression across visuals and voice.

To be successful you will need:

  • Extensive experience in senior creative roles including agency environments, with proven experience across video, web, photography, copy, social design
  • Demonstrated effective relationship management skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of the creative supplier market and experience in managing panels across all creative outputs. Comfortable directing both art and copy talent
  • Proven people leadership skills - including a strong sense of fostering creative culture, people and team

Extensive experience in a senior creative leadership role and/or an equivalent combination of education/training is desirable.
