Job Details
The position is for the ANR project BIOLUM. The goal of the project is to decipher between different light emitters' forms in firefly bioluminescence systems and influence of the protein environment. Theoretical study is done in collaboration with experimental teams in Strasbourg and Theoretical team in Marseille.
The successful candidate will study the influence of some mutations on the light emission by combination of Molecular Dynamic and QM/MM calculations.
The applicant(e) should have a PhD in computational/theoretical chemistry or biology. An experience in molecular dynamic simulation and/or QM/MM calculation is required. Good communication skills in English are necessary.
The appointment if for one year. The salary is around 2500 euros (before taxes) (low estimation 1600 euros after taxes).
