Research Associate - Department of Mechanics of Intelligent Structures

The Institute of Fluid Flow Machinery Polish Academy of Sciences (Instytut Maszyn Przepływowych im Roberta Szewalskiego Polskiej Akademii Nauk) is the leading organization in the field of fluid mechanics, multiphase flows, thermodynamics and heat exchange, laser measurement techniques, machinery dynamics, tribology and diagnostics of energy production machinery. The thematic orientation of its research concerns aerodynamics, solid mechanics and energy conversion in flows including plasma and lasers.

The candidate will work in the very good research team that specializes in various NDT and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) methods, damage assessment, structural dynamics, smart materials and structures, composite structures, fracture mechanics, working in this field theoretically, numerically and experimentally.

If it is necessary, interviews with selected Candidates may be conducted (in person or via internet).
