Job Details
This post is fixed term until the 31st March 2021.
It is essential that you have completed or close to completing a *PhD in Fluid Mechanics or a related area with an emphasis on experimental work. A publication record in Fluid mechanics, specifically, one or more of the following areas is desirable: experimental methods, turbulence, instabilities, free-shear flows. Experience in development and application of flow diagnostics is highly desirable. Strong communication and language skills, as evidenced by publications and presentations, are essential.
* Applications for Research Fellow positions will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
