EMEA Product Stewardship Manager - Wide Job Role

I am currently working for a Market leading speciality player, with a good reputation in the industry. Due to replacement a senior role opened up for an experienced compliance candidate to join the team. As a senior specialist you will cover the whole EMEA region and cover all compliance topics. On top of that you will also represent the company in industry associations and maintain the contact with relevant governmental bodies. You be working closely together with R&D and help to figure out long term regulatory strategies. Combining all this will give you a lot of variation on a daily basis and the chance to combine your technical skill-set with strategic work.

This specific position is still relatively new for the business, meaning that you will still have a lot of room to shape the scope of the role and can actively contribute to further build this out. In this job you will get a lot of autonomy and decision making freedom, whilst interacting with many departments in the business.

To be successful:
* Strong Compliance knowledge with GHS, REACH, CLP,…
* Strong communication and leadership skills to influence internal and external stakeholders
* Experience interacting with industry associations
* Living in the Waterloo area or willing to relocate
* Valid Work permit
