Assistant or Associate Professor in Cardiology - Electrophysiology

The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include supporting the inpatient electrophysiology consult service, electrophysiology lab, and ambulatory clinic.

Qualified candidates must have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine, advanced electrophysiology procedures including device implantation and ablations. The candidate will have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program, hold board-certification in cardiology, board eligible or certified in cardiac electrophysiology, and preferably have a strong and/or developing record of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding support. In addition to research skills as noted, the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship and training as appropriate to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees and/or graduate students.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
