Research Support Technician - Animal Biology, Plant Biology and Ecology Department

A Research Support Technician at the Animal Biology, Plant Biology and Ecology Department of the UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) is avalaible in the framework of the MEDIRAD (Grant Agreement 755523)-H2020 project. The duration of the appointment is 7 month and the gross salary is 20.437,92 € per year.

Work experience in a laboratory of molecular biology and in a research group workin in bioinformatics will be valuable. It will be also valuable knowledge on computer analysis of DNA sequencing results of DNA methylation analysis, as well as knowledge on statistics, Bioconductor and R. Good level of English is required. Availability to start on March 2019

Selection criteria: 

• Bachelor degree or equivalent Bioscience: 10 points
• M.Sc. Diploma on completed or in progress : 25 points
• Experience at the methods for the analysis bioinformatics of results of sequencing: 15 points
• Level C1 or superior of English: 20 points (Level B2 of English: 10 points)
• Experience at a laboratory of molecular biology utilising technicians of extraction and manipulation of DNA: 30 points
