Research Dentist - Digital Dentistry Research Team

Would you like to be involved in a clinical trial looking at a new 3D printing manufacturing process?

We are looking to recruit a part time Research Dentist for grant funded clinical research within the Digital Dentistry Research Team. This is a new post working in the Leeds Digital Dentistry Team which is leading a multi-centre trial (working with Birmingham and Manchester Universities) to investigate the efficiency and effectiveness of 3-D printed complete dentures.  The field of digital dentistry is arguably the fastest growth area in dentistry. Digital dentistry encompasses new concepts in teaching, in research and in clinical applications. The rate of change is exceptional. Leeds is in a position to be at the forefront of these developments.  You will have full registration with the General Dental Council and a broad range of IT skills is also essential. It would be an advantage to have extensive experience in digital dentistry, handling STL files, and understanding the clinical and laboratory workflows for 3-D printing dentures. You will have the ability to manage time effectively, adhere to deadlines and display effective interpersonal and communication skills as part of a team.
