NonStop is currently working with a local authority, which is committed to serving the people in the community and transforming the way they operate to ensure that they provide high quality services in the most efficient way.

The main focus for the service is to drive forward the focus on achieving stability for their support and protection teams. You will be responsible for 5 direct reports Assessment Team Managers, 5 Senior Practitioners, 20 Social Workers and 1 Domestic Violence Senior Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to lead and take responsibility for the further development strategically of short term child protection.

This improvement local authority are seeking a manager who is particularly committed to creative ways of maximising children and young people's engagement in child protection conferences and is open to piloting new ways of working.

You will be joining an authority that have made the right steps in their improvement plan and where staff members are supported through a well-targeted and effectively delivered training programme.
