Job Details
Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Uppsala
The company is a Uppsala-based and technical firm, which has a world leading in-house development and production platform for modulators. These modulators are a key function within several major necessary areas, for example scientific research, cancer treatment and industrial x-ray. Over 95% of the company's products are exported abroad, to the U.S, China and Europe. Today the company has more than 50 employees and is expanding rapidly.
Become the new Quality Engineer and take part in moving innovative ideas to large production projects that will reach out to a series of global customers.
The company is certified according to ISO 9001: 2015 and 14001: 2015. The QA team currently consists of two people who are responsible for maintaining and developing the company's management system for quality and the environment, and for ensuring that the company's processes work well. The customers are in the segments Science, Industry and Medtech. Customers' requirements vary within these different areas, but in common for all, they have high demands on quality.
The company has historically manufactured customer-specific products in small series, but now more and more, especially within Medtech, opposes serial production, which places completely different demands on the organisation.
Your responsibilities
Develop and maintain the company's QMS and follow up, among other things, through internal audits.
Inform the staff about present routines and follow up on compliance.
Handle deviations, from registration to root cause analysis, both in terms of customer and inter-company reviews.
Participate in external audits both from certification companies and customers. Some customer visits may occur.
Participate in and work for the company's work with continuous improvements, e.g in various improvement projects.
Qualifications:
College education in electronics, technical physics or equivalent.
Technical interest and experience of quality and improvement work.
Good knowledge of English in speech and writing.
