Job Details

Industrial funding has become available for the Dr Wael Kafienah Lab, School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine (CMM), to work on a project on cellular reprogramming. The work will involve converting fibroblast cell lines into chondrocytes followed by characterising the converted cells by FACS and qPCR. Experience in these techniques is highly preferred but not critical as the candidate will work within a team focused on the project. We are seeking a highly motivated and highly organised junior scientist who can work against a milestone-driven timetable. The candidate can start work in early January and the project will run for 6 months from the start date, with potential for extension pending availability of further funds. Interested candidates can contact Dr Wael Kafienah.

For informal enquiries, please contact Dr Wael Kafienah on w.z.kafienah@bristol.ac.uk.

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world's leading universities.
