Job Details
The successful candidate appointed to this role will work in the Business Intelligence Team within the Solutions group to analyse staff, student, external customer and user needs; and to design, develop, deliver, support and maintain innovative and properly-engineered data warehouse and business intelligence systems to ensure the delivery of appropriate and accurate data from multiple domains to a variety of stakeholders.
You must have significant experience of writing and tuning complex SQL queries, of analysing user needs and designing, implementing and supporting business intelligence or reporting solutions on enterprise-scale information systems whilst adhering to relevant IT standards and methodologies.
The platforms currently used for data warehouse and BI development are SAP Data Services and SAP BusinessObjects BI Suite, but appropriate training in these technologies will be provided for the successful candidate who has the relevant experience but no experience with these SAP products.
This position is fixed term for a period of 2 years.
