Job Details

The School of Economics, Finance and Management (EFIM) is seeking to appoint three Senior Digital Officers to support the development and maintenance of School web pages and social media platforms. These will be busy, challenging and exciting roles, helping to lead the development of new web presences as well as overseeing the ongoing maintenance of the current pages and social media platforms.

EFIM will go through a restructure over the next two years, becoming three separate Schools by August 2020; Management, Economics and Accounting & Finance. From winter 2018, we will start developing three separate School web presences and social media platforms. This will help to express and reinforce the distinct identities of the three new Schools.

These new roles will work alongside senior administrative and academic colleagues in the School and the External Relations Division. We expect the role holders to play a key part in leading the development of web presences for the three new Schools.

Candidates should have significant experience of creating and re-developing websites, including good working knowledge of HTML. Candidates should also have a talent for knowing how to present content on the web and will ideally have a good understanding of the use of web and social media in UK Higher Education. Good interpersonal skills and organisational skills are also important for these roles.

For any informal enquiries please contact Don Rintoul, School Manager - 07970 336 481 or don.rintoul@bristol.ac.uk

The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Sunday 3rd February 2019.

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world's leading universities.
