Post-doctoral position in Environmental Epidemiology

Job Details

We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to join our dynamic teams to work on the PoCoMo project, a 4-y funded project by ANR (France) and aiming to evaluate the associations between air pollution and cognition in the large CONSTANCES cohort. The researcher is expected to participate actively to the analyses, do a systematic review of the literature, data management and analysis, coordination of data collection, writing scientific papers and training master and pre-doctoral students. A strong epidemiological and/or statistical background is required.

Main Activites 

  • Conduct systematic reviews of the literature
  • Coordinate epidemiological data collection
  • Perform statistical analysis of associations between air pollution and cognitive tests
  • Interpret and discuss the results with other PoCoMo members
  • Write scientific papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals
  • Contribute as co-author to other PoCoMo publications
  • Preparation of project deliverables
  • Present results in scientific conferences and meetings

 

Skills and Qualifications 

Knowledge: Epidemiology, Environmental Epidemiology and Statistics 

Skills: Excellent organisation and communicaion skills, excellen writing skills, team player yet capable of working autonomously and rational thinker
