Job Details
There is a heavy emphasis on image processing for digital holographic microscopy in the project, which will require knowledge of signal processing and programming with C++ or Matlab; in particular the Post-doc will be required to develop algorithms for numerical propagation of holograms for image reconstruction, autofocussing, aberration compensation, phase unwrapping, and 3D rendering; experience in any of these processes will be beneficial. Any experience with handling/analysing biological samples would also be beneficial but is not essential. The role also includes supervising PhD students.
