The candidate will be in charge of mouse colony, planning of experiments and mentoring students
Our lab has a general interest in understanding how rewarding and stressful experiences trigger neuronal and synaptic dysregulations that lead to maladaptive behaviors. The proposed project will aim at understanding the integration of dopamine and glutamate striatal neurotransmission in the context of stress-related disorders (See Morel et al., 2017 Mol. Psychiatry; Fernandez et al., 2018 Nat. Communications).
The IPMC (www.ipmc.cnrs.fr) is located in Sophia Antipolis, a European technology park, and lies 20 km away from Nice. Our Institute provides access to two animal facilities fully equipped for breeding and behavioral analyses, A2 labs for viral manipulations and imaging facilities.
