Job Details
The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for the design and execution of (i) primary parasitology assays (in vitro phenotypic screening cascade versus Trypanosoma cruzi and Leishmania), and (ii) in vitro pharmacokinetic and metabolism studies (solubility, permeability, lipophilicity and microsomal stability). The registration period ends on 15th March, 2019.
Candidates must have obtained their PhD degree within the last 7 (seven) years and have experience in conducting in vitro assays with kinetoplastids and/or in vitro pharmacokinetics/ADME. Fluency in English and willingness to work within interdisciplinary teams.
The Post-doctoral FAPESP Fellowship grant a monthly amount of R$ 7.373,10 (Brazilian Real) and research contingence funds, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship, which is intended for use in activities developed in accordance to the research project, and during its valid period. Candidates who need to move to São Carlos (São Paulo State, Brazil), with displacement distance above 350 km (three hundred and fifty kilometers), may request financial support for travel and installation expenses, and the merit will be evaluated by FAPESP upon acceptance of the fellowship.
