Research Assistant - Geodesy and Cartography

The competition is open to those who fulfill the conditions laid down in the Act of 20 July 2018. The Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws, item 1668).

The candidates should:

• hold a PhD degree of engineering sciences, land surveying and cartography or hold the master's of engineering degree and completed studies in the field of Land surveying and cartography and have a commencing a doctoral degree conferral procedure in the field of technical sciences, in the discipline of land surveying and cartography,
• are proficient users of the Polish language and can speak a modern foreign language,
• have documented three years of experience in the preparation and conduct of didactic classes with students (in Polish) for the following majors: Landscape Architecture, Land Management, Land Surveying and Cartography,
• have completed a qualification training course to be a higher education teacher,
• have documented scientific output in the field of land surveying and cartography in the form of publications listed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (at least score of 25, including one publication on the A list),
• have skills necessary to carry out academic and research projects verified by their participation in academic conferences or research projects (as a participant and organiser),
• have completed a short-term internship or training at a research unit (including at least one abroad),
• have documented organizational activities,
• have knowledge of spatial planning and land management, natural basis of spatial management and geographic spatial information systems,
• are proficient users of GIS software, including QGIS,
• be skilled in teamwork, both in research and teaching process.
