Job Details
The lab of Dr. George Kollias at the Biomedical Sciences Research Center ‘Alexander Fleming' (www.fleming.gr) is seeking a post-doctoral scientist with proven track record in the analysis and characterization of chronic inflammatory diseases (central nervous system, intestinal or joint inflammation) and cancer in animal models of human disease.
Candidates must have a PhD in Biological Sciences or related fields and excellent command of the English language. Proven expertise in the development and characterisation of animal models of disease and immunological phenotyping including bioimaging is required. Additionally, experience with EAE, RA, IBD or cancer models is desirable.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant positions and at least one high impact, first-author publication is required. The successful applicant will be a member of a highly interactive research group that operates across immunology, molecular biology, systems biology and animal modeling and will be expected to interact closely and productively with scientists from different disciplines.
