Finance Manager

Do you have the skills to operate as a finance business partner to the Head of Institute and contribute to the development and implementation of strategy?

As Finance Manager of the Leeds Institute of Medical Research at St James's campus, you will make a significant contribution to the strategic agenda at Institute, School and Faculty level in relation to key projects, and be responsible for shaping specific developments across the institution.  You will have responsibility for producing comprehensive and sustainable financial strategies. With demonstrable skills and experience in management accounting and active finance business partnering, you will be a qualified / finalist CCAB accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or have equivalent experience with, ideally, a background in the University/NHS sectors.You will have experience of management information reporting using a large-scale accounting system. You will possess a proven ability to interpret, present and communicate complex financial information to colleagues of all disciplines in an effective and proactive manner.
