The Faculty of Biological Sciences has an annual turnover of approximately £53m of which £18m comes from research grants and contracts. The faculty is embarking on a programme of major academic development, supported by investment in the estate. This post offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to this development. You will be the senior finance professional for this faculty and as such, be a member of the Faculty Executive Committee and Faculty Strategy Group where you will play a significant role in scoping and developing the Faculty's overall strategy and make a significant contribution to the University's strategic agenda in relation to key projects.

With demonstrable skills and experience in developing and implementing business and financial strategies, you must be a professionally qualified accountant or qualified by equivalent substantial experience. You must also have significant experience of managing a business orientated finance function at a senior level.
