Job Details
The HR Advisor (Performance Project) will be part of the Optimising Academic Performance Project team. Demonstrating a deep understanding of managing performance at the University, our Enterprise Agreement and employment policies and procedures the role will work in partnership with the HR Advisory portfolio to provide human resource advice, support and guidance on a range of Academic workforce strategic initiatives around performance management, separations, promotions and early retirement scheme.
Working under limited direction the HR Advisor (Performance Project) will be part of the Optimising Academic Performance Project team. The role will focus on providing practical and expert human resources and workplace relations advice for people leaders to manage and lift performance.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in the use of contemporary HR practices
- Demonstrated ability to provide timely expert HR advice including interpretation of enterprise agreements and policies
- Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters of a complex nature
- Demonstrated experience in working and effectively communicating with people at all levels in a large organization
- Demonstrated ability to establish positive respectful relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment, handling a diverse range of enquiries and projects
