Principle Engineering Geologist

Job Summary
This company is undertaking some very large strategic land investigations at the moment for the major house builders/strategic land developers and significantly expanded their client base in the energy market, which means that they have big projects and so are looking for a Principle Engineering geologist to help with those tasks. Based in the Malvern Hills, the successful candidate will be surrounded by the picturesque area and be a short commute away from Birmingham, Bristol and surrounding areas, with the opportunity to occasionally work from home. The company itself prides itself on it's variety of disciplines such as energy back up power stations, strategic land as well as residential.

The role consists of mentoring junior and senior members of staff in the team and project managing geotechnical ground investigations, as well as will have the opportunity to work on major projects. The successful candidate will be the go-to person for everything relating to geotechnical within the company.

Requirements:
* 15 years' experience in both geo-environmental and geotechnical, however must be more centred towards geotechnical consulting.
* Experience in geotechnical interpretive reports is a must, slope stability assessment experience would be a distinct advantage.
* Chartered Geotechnical Engineer.
* Excellent report writing skills as well as a methodical detailed approach to work and detailed report reviewer.
* Experience of project managing of large Site Investigations and ground-works at a senior level
* Superb communication with junior staff.
