Professor/ Associate Professor: Practical Theology, Homiletics and Liturgy

Practical Theology and Missiology is an academic discipline within the Faculty of Theology with a focus on Practial Theology, Homelitics and Missiology.
Duties
- Lecturing in the field of Homiletics and Liturgy and related areas;
- Postgraduate supervision;
- Commitment to further research;
- Attending and presenting papers at national and international conferences;
- Administration pertaining to teaching and research;
- Involvement in activities of the discipline group and faculty;
- Involvement in the Stellenbosch University (SU) community and social impact activities.
Requirements
- A PhD or DTh- degree in Homiletics and/or Liturgy;
- Teaching and research experience;
- Knowledge in the field of Practical Theology;
- Computer literacy, with the ability to use various Microsoft programmes (Word, PowerPoint, etc.);
- Good administrative and organisational skills;
- Ability to function in a multilingual environment.
