My client, a global solution provider focused on health-care ICT is currently seeking for a SERVICE DIRECTOR FOR SOUTHERN EUROPE to strengthen its Service team.
With a unique product and solutions portfolio and software architecture capabilities, you will have the opportunity to gain specific skills and be on top of the industry with a leading company that has subsidiaries in 15 countries and employs around 1,300 people worldwide.
Moreover the company has built over the years a very strong reputation by securing important contract with biggest hospitals around the world.
Required competencies- Excellent leadership skills
- Proven track record as a Manager in Professional Services/After Sales Services/Project in a B2B direct business model
- Msc in Business Economics/Technical Management and 5 years' experience in an equivalent management role
- Technical literacy in relevant areas
- Some experience in software delivery business
- Financial literacy with respect to project costs, margin and financial optimisation op projects and services
- Strong understanding of processes, tools and methods within the profession.
- Ability to establish, maintain and develop successful and stable customer relationships
- Excellent communication- and decision making skills
- Willingness to travel frequently when needed
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in French (spoken and written)
- Manage the service business to reach all targets with agreed profit according to regional budget and in line with the Divisional Mid Term Plan.
- Responsible for providing a correct forecast for the revenue and margin estimate by month, Quarter, HY, FY
- Responsible for driving and communicate to sales and other functions on main learning from project implementations and follow up.
- Identify and propose the best organisational set-up for the Services department across all countries in the region
- Ensure that all Divisional processes are implemented in the regional service department and follow up on the governance model, efficiency and profitability.
- Daily management of the Services department (project management- and execution, professional services and customer support.
- Planning and execution of all projects with best possible use of the available capacity and competence
- Assist the Managing Director with necessary updates, analytical production, presentations and important selected initiatives
