Introduction
Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Medical Officer, Anaesthesiology.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
- Do pre-operative assessment and coordinate with primary teams for consistent high quality patient care.
- Display effective and relevant documentation with quality record keeping of clinical notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries as indicated.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to avoid mishaps, delays, and lapses in patient care
- Display good sense of understanding and work relationship with nursing and paramedical staff.
- Ensure that patients are given correct post-operative medications / instructions with clear explanation of health care needs.
- Remain updated on infection control procedures and follow the same accordingly.
Requirements
You should have:
- MBBS degree with a valid license from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC)
- Completed one year house job or internship
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
