Operating within the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic (ODVCA), The Library is integral to learning, discovery and engagement at The University of Queensland. We provide access to quality scholarly information resources and quality client focused services and spaces to support teaching and research at The University of Queensland. We partner with the UQ and wider community to provide pathways to enrich learning and research.
The University of Queensland Library has one of the largest collections amongst Australian academic libraries and is by far the largest in Queensland. The collection includes access to 2.4 million book titles (electronic and print) and 148,000 journal titles (electronic and print). Our institutional repository, UQ eSpace, houses over 330,000 items authored or co-authored by UQ affiliated researchers, including more than 196,000 journal articles, 61,000 conference papers, and 19,000 theses.

The role
The Digitisation Manager provides leadership and management of the digitisation and imaging services of the University of Queensland Library, promotes the service and works collaboratively with other areas on digitisation projects.
The person
To be successful in this role, you will have completed a relevant postgraduate qualification (or progress towards completion) with extensive professional experience or equivalent, demonstrated expertise in the provision of digitisation services and knowledge of current trends in libraries, archives and digitisation services.

Remuneration
This is a Full Time, Fixed Term appointment at HEW Level 8. The remuneration package will be in the range $94,667 to $106,298 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range $103,660 to $116,397 p.a.).
