Regulatory Affairs Specialist Residues

Working with a growing regulatory department for an agrochemical consultancy, this will be an opportunity providing you with an opportunity to work with a number of industry companies providing dietary risk assessment and regulatory advise on residue parts of the dossier.

In this position you will be expect to utilise your technical background to

Take responsibility for compiling dossier sections for methods of analysis and residue field trials.

Perform dietary risk assessments for humans and livestock.

Review DARs, other public domain literature and client data to provide advice to clients on how best to meet their regulatory obligations for plant protection products and biocides.

Help clients to devise, set-up and monitor a field residue trials programme.

Help to compile submissions aimed at setting MRLs.

Attend meetings with clients and be a technical expert for residue analysis.

Provide advice to the regulatory affairs team on residue analysis issues.

Liaise with the Head of Regulatory Affairs to provide cost analyses to present to clients.

Manage multi-disciplinary customer projects with responsibility for ensuring that timelines are met and budgets maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS

Be qualified to BSc, MSc or PhD level in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
Have experience of Study Directing residue analysis and method validation projects.
Enjoy working as part of a team.
Be a skilled problem solver able to find pragmatic solutions to technical challenges.
Have a positive attitude and a proven ability to plan and conduct a schedule of parallel running studies to high standard, on time and to budget.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to provide customers with updates on potential & ongoing projects with convincing scientific comments & conclusions.
