Role: Project Engineer/Manager - Contaminated Land
Location: Dublin (North)
Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 Euros
Experience level: 4+ years experience
Academic requirements: MSc Hydrogeology or similar (MSc Contaminated Land, Environmental Science) / BSc Geology
Client:
My client is a international highly specialised consultancy who are now looking to hire a Project Engineer for their growing team in North Dublin. They work on a wide range of complex projects with large multinational clients such as Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Industrial, Water, MOD, Nuclear and legacy projects.
You will enjoy a varied workload on exciting complex projects, which has been listed as one of the top requirements for candidates in the industry throughout 2018/19.
Your responsibilities are likely to include:
* Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, meeting project schedules, quality requirements and client expectations;
* Completion of fieldwork tasks including site inspections, multi-media environmental sampling and characterisation, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and management of remediation system operations and maintenance;
* Management of remediation treatability and pilot tests with subsequent data evaluation, report writing and work plan development;
* Management, training and mentoring of junior staff;
* Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;
* Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties; and
* Supporting to the senior team in client care and development activities.
