One of NonStop's long standing clients are actively searching for an Executive Assistant to join their international team at their UK base in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for any executive assistants with some good experience in administration and events management who is looking to work for an innovative medical diagnostics company and take on a diverse role that will see you working closely with cross functional teams (both locally and internationally), as well as becoming an integral member of the task force in terms of planning and scheduling events for the whole of the UK operations.
As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including order and inventory management, executive secretarial work and planning and organising events across the whole of the UK. Working closely with other professionals and being a vital support to one of the Vice Presidents, this position will help to enhance your skill set, as well as improving your communication skills and time management. All of these qualities will increase your employment opportunities for the future, as well as give you a great insight into the medical field as a whole.
This role is looking for someone who takes a hands on approach to their work and isn't afraid to get stuck in. It's also your chance to take a step up in responsibility during times when the VP is away on business, giving you an opportunity to represent the department and take on tasks with a wider scope.
Key Requirements for this Executive Assistant position include:
* At least 3 years of experience as an executive assistant or related function
* An educational background to degree level
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A high level of organisation is also required for this position
* Previous experience in planning and organising events
* Candidates must be based in Cambridge or have the ability to relocate to the region
