Are you interested in using and growing your developer skills in a diverse development function? Are you an enthusiastic and driven individual with a desire to be part of an Application Development team delivering high quality IT services to support a range of business critical systems?

Using a range of technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS and JavaScript, you will be part of a team delivering and supporting a range of key University websites. Working under the guidance of a Developer you will contribute to the development of new and existing key core services used by a range of business stakeholders.

You will develop skills, knowledge and experience across a range of technologies and programming languages including HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, build automation and Adobe CS. You will be expected to develop skills, knowledge and experience gained through working in a development role to design, develop and maintain applications across a range of technologies. You will work effectively, aligned to the development lifecycle ensuring effective communication and consultation with stakeholders and customers in designing and implementing fit for purpose solutions.

Working in a complex environment, your work as a Trainee Developer will involve documenting your work in line with standard operating procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practice, IT standards and regulatory compliance.
