Job Details
Would you like to be a key member of a significant strategic improvement programme: Student Lifecycle Support Programme (SLSP)?
The University of Bristol have initiated SLSP to create user-friendly systems and a seamless administrative framework to support both staff and students. Working within an Agile/SCRUM delivery methodology, you will be a responsible for the end-to-end system testing.
You will take the overall lead for all testing activities across the programme (functional and non-functional). You will agree testing scope, devise test strategies, establish standards, methods and processes for testing, implement tools for automated and manual testing frameworks (where appropriate), management and defect tracking. You will work closely with programme team, product supplier and end users to ensure the deliverables meet the required quality standards.
Experience of managing a testing function across programmes and projects within a large, complex organisation and testing large-scale enterprise business systems is essential. Experience of all stages of testing, knowledge of testing best practice and proven experience in deploying tools for test management is also essential to the role.
You must be able to work well both as a member of a team and under your own initiative. The ability to communicate fluently and to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
