Registered Manager - Local Authority - Residential Short Breaks Unit
NonStop's client is seeking Registered Manager to work with Children that have disabilities and young care leavers in residential home based in Greater Manchester area.
As you will start this management position on a contract basis, it gives you the flexibility to try the position for a few months. You will be able to see if this position is for you on an interim basis and if so you have the opportunity to take the role on permanently.
The service has a dual purpose; to provide a short break to families of children with additional and complex needs with an overnight stay and; to provide emergency accommodation for a child with additional and complex need to help families through real crisis periods or for safeguarding reasons.
You will be joining a local authority that is committed to developing their staff and a management team that is very supportive. This is the chance for you to learn from experienced management colleagues, offering you guidance and support for you to develop in the organisation.
Candidates must have:
- Must have extensive years of management experience within a children setting
- Working with the Children with Disabilities
- Must have knowledge of OFSTED regulations
- Hold an NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
