What is expected of you

Analytical approach is a essential, if you are an analytical thinker with an analytical approach to Risk Management, you will excel in this position as not only will you be able to use your previous experiences but also you will be in a position to also teach what you have learned and also enlarge your knowledge as you will be working with many big Banks.

Due to the fact that you will be working closely with different departments within the company, it is imperative that you have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build long lasting relationships and lead team orientated projects and display team leading skills

What is required of you

 Deep analytical skills, coupled with an open and curious mind, problem solving ability and a solution focused attitude
 Demonstrated coding experience in Python or R and SQL as well as excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite
 3 plus years of professional experience, particularly in banking ( preferred but not essential ) or in a consulting firm focusing on quantitative risk management
 Master or PhD in a quantitative discipline ( Mathematics, Physics or quantitative Finance ) advantageous
 Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build long lasting relationships and team orientated Project and team leading skills
 Business-fluent in English (essential) with German or French language skills also beneficial

Day to day job description

 Leading teams and providing support with team development which will cover retention and recruitment
 Supporting and leading projects, from a quantitative and qualitative perspective
 Consideration of relevant regulatory requirements ( Basel, FINMA, etc.)
 Market practice in a number of the following areas is essential, Credit Risk, Market Risk Liquidity Risk, Treasury risk , Operational Risk and Capital Risk
 Proactively participate and contribute to the Swiss and international Financial services and build a personal external network in the Swiss Financial Services market
