Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant
Salary Expectation (Senior): £32,000 - £37,000
Salary Expectation (Principal): £40,000 - £45,000
Location: Derby

My client is a UK leading Environmental Consultancy which is currently experiencing growth across the UK due to producing high quality work and therefor gaining a strong reputation, leading to increased business. To ensure that they maintain high standards of performance and outcome, they are looking to add only the best geo-environmental professionals who can contribute to the outcome of projects with new ideas and add to the atmosphere of the company.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Interpretive and factual report writing. Foundation Design reports.
* Signing off on reports
* Phase II Site Investigation
* Running the office team. Therefor this role requires you to take lots of responsibility and work relatively autonomously
* Managing Site Activities (such as Trial Pitting and Drilling Supervision)
* Managing Sub Contractors including maintaining a high performance quality and creating Health and Safety reports

Skills and Qualifications Required:
* 5-12 years Geotechnical/Ground Investigation/Site Investigation Experience(UK Experience Only)
* MSc degree level qualified in geology or relevant environmental subjects
* Geotechnical Interpretive report writing (Foundation Design)
* Chartered Geologist or Approaching Chartership
* Project Management experience, including the supervision of drilling, people management, health and safety reports, cost analysis and budgeting
* Good communication skills to liaise with other members of the project, sub contractors and clients
