Senior Legal Counsel- Pharmaceutical HQ, broad daily coverage with a focus on procurement, IT and logistics. 12 month contract with realistic chances to move permanently.

We are currently searching for a legal professional to join a high level legal team with both EU and global coverage for a top tier pharmaceutical company. The role is initially to cover a maternity leave, but we expect this will shift to a permanent role as there is significant growth planned. What we are looking for is someone experienced in law within a pharmaceutical company who in particular is strong in contract law. The role it's self will have broad coverage from contract write ups, reviews and negotiations to vendor management and general counsel duty's. The company are a big player in the pharmaceutical industry and have many legal functions set-up in Switzerland. With this in mind there are many global and EU roles to progress within.

Key Responsibilities:
* Legal counselling and broad coverage for contracts
* Working closely with procurement, IT and logistic teams on areas like MSAs, CDAs and vendor agreements.
* Strategic support for the above teams for new initiatives, SOPs and collaborations
* Providing support with vendors and external counsel

Key Requirements:
* Experience in European contract law, Swiss experience is benefit
* Experience working with pharmaceutical companies, either as an internal or working with a major law firm
* Able to start in May/June, candidates already living in Switzerland would be preferable
* Strong educational background in law
