SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Salary Expectation: Up to £40,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Location: Hannington, Hampshire

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Interpretive and factual report writing
* Phase II Site Investigation
* Conducting preliminary risk assessments (phase 1 desk studies) and intrusive ground investigations
* Managing Site Activities (such as Trial Pitting and Drilling Supervision)
* Managing Sub Contractors including maintaining a high performance quality and creating Health and Safety reports
* Logging to BS5930
* Geo-environmental and Geotechnical scheduling.

Skills and Qualifications Required:
* 5+ years Geotechnical/Ground Investigation/Site Investigation UK Experience
* MSc degree level qualified in geology or related environmental subjects
* Interpretive report writing
* Chartered Geologist
* Project Management experience, including the supervision of drilling, people management, health and safety reports, cost analysis and budgeting
* Good communication skills to liaise with other members of the project
* CSCS Card
