Description
An Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting/Finance should be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and engage in scholarly activities. The Assistant/Associate Professor should offer innovative, learning-focused instruction with the ability to engage industry in the classroom.
Duties
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Serve on University and academic committees. Attend Chapel services. Pursue professional presentations and publications. Assume advisory responsibilities and technology related activities. Participate in student extra-curricular activities.
Education & Experience Requirements
The applicant should have a Ph.D. in Accounting, D.B.A. in Accounting or equivalent degree. Credentials in Finance, International Business or Entrepreneurship are a plus. Truly exceptional applicants with Masters' degrees may be considered at the Instructor level. Three year academic or industry experience recommended. Five or more years preferred.
Evaluation of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. ORU requires a background check as a condition for faculty employment.
