Provide Operational & Strategic Management

A Local Authority based in the South East is seeking an experienced Social Work manager to join their Mental Health and Adult services.

Highlights:

  • Will be covering Mental Health and the Emergency Out of Hours Duty services
  • Have the opportunity to work autonomously and will be encouraged to use your creativity in order to help develop the service further
  • This is a Local Authority which has a good track record during inspections and also boasts one of the most stable work force - with most of its staff employed on a permanent basis
  • Will be supported by the wider management team and will be encouraged to contribute to discussions relating to the development of services.
  • Will be managing established and stable teams with little turnover of staff
  • Will be given the equipment to work flexibly

    • This is an excellent opportunity to work for a Local Authority which has a good track record of providing a consistently high level of care to its service users. The service benefits from a much lower than average staff turnover rate which enables Managers to focus on the operational management of the service as well as implementing ideas which can further improve performance. Indeed, you will be encouraged to bring your ideas to the the table and get involved in discussions with the wider management team to further improve practice.

    This post will see you cover 3 different service areas; Mental Health, Autism and the Emergency Out of Hours Duty service.

    To be considered for this post you should have extensive management experience at an operational and strategical level within a Local Authority
